Impressive Benefits from BBL Skin Treatment
BroadBand Light (BBL) is the world's most effective device for treating the visible effects of sundamage: fine lines, red and brown discoloration and poor elasticity. Similar to IPL or Photofacial but much more powerful, BBl is the laser for a clearer more youthful complexion.
If you are looking for one treatment to do consistently to slow the signs of aging, it would be the BBL. The anti aging science behind this laser is unparalleled.
Dr Bonness' motto for maintenance: "Sunblock, Retinol and BBL"
BroadBand Light (BBL)
BroadBand Light (BBL) is a precise, non-invasive, innovative treatment targeting sun damaged and aging skin. BBL uses the energy of pulsing light to rejuvenate your skin to a more youthful texture and even skin tone. The light energy heats your skin and stimulates the generation of collagen. The photothermal energy also treats redness and pigmented lesions caused by fine blood vessels and melanin.
BBL can be used to treat any area of your body, particularly those exposed to the sun, including the face, neck, chest, shoulders, and back of the hands. Depending on your desired results, you may need 2 to 5 treatment sessions about 4 to 8 weeks apart. With little to no downtime, you should be able to resume normal activities immediately, including going to work and wearing makeup.
BBL is one of the many medical spa services we provide, bringing out your best with our professional staff and latest technology in body improvements. Live your life confidently with Dr. Bonness.
The BBL Advantage
Take advantage of BBL laser treatment, the right solution for any of these unwanted imperfections:
- Facial veins
- Continuous red flushing
- Fine lines
- Decreased elasticity
This laser works by gently heating the skin, stimulating the increase in new healthy pigment free cells and robust collagen. Whereas most lasers work by exfoliating or destroying tissue, BBL works by actually changing how your cells function at a cellular level. The brillance of BBL is there is no downtime!
We recommend an initial series of 3 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart followed by maintenance treatments every 3 months (or more if you'd like). The in office treatment takes 30-60 mins and is fairly comfortable. It can be done anytime of the year.
Stanford Study of BBL
A study presented at the 2012 Society of Investigative Dermatology Annual Meeting discusses how “BBL treatment can restore gene expression pattern of… aged human skin to resemble young skin.” Read the full text of the Broadband Light treatment study.
