Ask Your Cosmetic Surgeon...
There are activity restrictions during recovery. On average, patients can do light cardio within 3 weeks following surgery. All other restrictions will be discussed on an individual basis, depending on your procedure.
We ask that you stop taking all non-essential vitamins and supplements 2 weeks prior to surgery. You may resume taking them immediately during recovery.
We would be happy to see you for a consultation. In order to provide you with the best experience and most informative consultation, we request that you provide the medical records from your previous surgery prior to your consultation date.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due on the day you schedule your surgery. The balance will be due in full at your pre-operative appointment.
We would like you to wait a minimum of 6 months from the time you delivered to come in for your initial consultation. If you are breastfeeding, you will need to wait a minimum of 6 months from the time you finish breast feeding to be evaluated for surgery.
Smoking inhibits your healing and doesn’t allow Dr. Bonness to perform a procedure that will give you optimal results. We ask that you quit smoking for a minimum of 2 months prior to your surgery.
Typically, Dr. Bonness will ask that you not travel for 3 weeks prior to or following surgery. If you have specific travel needs or other special questions, Dr. Bonness will give individual guidelines per patient based upon their individual situation.
We would be happy to see you for a pre-consultation with our medical assistant. This is a complimentary 30-minute appointment where we can answer basic questions regarding the procedure, what to expect during recovery, and give you a basic estimate on cost.
Typically, we can get your surgery scheduled within 6-8 weeks from the time of your consultation. We recommend that you have your initial consultation within 2 months of your surgery date.
