Dr. Michelle Bonness MD 

Dr. Bonness is a board certified, triple-fellowship trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. After completing medical school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison she completed a five-year General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Bonness then entered a two-year plastic and reconstructive surgery program at the University of Louisville. She was the first female plastic surgeon to complete the Louisville program. Dr. Bonness then went on to complete three additional fellowships: the first in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Louisville, the second in Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Norman Cole, MD, and the last in Breast Reconstruction with a pioneer in breast surgery -- Dr. Carl Hartrampf, MD -- in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Bonness is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only plastic surgery board which is recognized and accredited by the American board of Medical Specialties (see www.abms.org and www.abplsurg.org).
