Spring into Healthy Skin!
Make Your Skin as Soft as a Flower Petal
What should we do to get great looking skin? While sunscreen is an absolute must (I have said this a gazillion times). I am a firm believer in quality skin care (you have heard me say this many, many times also.) If you want to “spring” into summer with confidence and healthy glowing skin, antioxidants are crucial. Usually in the form of a vitamin C, antioxidants are extremely important because fundamentally they combat free radicals which we know do all kinds of damage. But for fresher, brighter, and more firmly toned skin, antioxidants are a must!!
In addition, consider evaluating your skin care products, tossing out expired products, generally two years or older unopened and one year opened and accessing what you may need (e.g. sunscreen, antioxidants, retinol, growth factors, and hydrators just to name a few.) Even a quality cleanser can benefit your skin in countless ways.
You may also want to consider more invasive collagen-boosting laser treatments before the summer fun prevents it. The BBL for hyperpigmentation and redness, Sublative or Fractora for fine lines, wrinkles and/or acne scars. The Forma for firming and tightening the skin.
Now is also an excellent time for deep exfoliation in the form of peels, ridding the skin of winter doldrums, resulting in radiant new skin ready for the season(s) ahead.
Think about scheduling a facial to clear out blackheads and clogged pores. Plus, with the new season upon us, it is an ideal time to consult with your aesthetician about how to transition your skin from winter into spring and the upcoming summer.
Don’t hesitate to stop in and speak with one of our experts and launch a treatment plan to ensure you are looking your best for the beautiful seasons ahead and beyond.
