In April 2019, Whittney decided to pursue her esthetics career and enrolled in the Esthetics program at the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness. In November 2019, she graduated as a Licensed Esthetician with an additional 200 hours above the Wisconsin state requirements. She takes pride in educating her patients on the significance of physician grade skincare, in-clinic treatments, and the importance of maintenance. With a fascination with injectables, Whittney was able to begin her career at Bonness as an “Aesthetic Assistant” where she accommodates our talented team of nurse injectors. She is dual certified in Plastic Surgical Nursing (CPSN) and Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) by the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses society (ISPAN) which is the premiere leader in patient safety and is The Definitive Voice for Plastic & Aesthetic Nurses . She sat on the Board of directors for ISPAN and is currently on the Board of Directors for Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board (PSNCB). She is one of the editors for the Journal of Plastic Surgical Nurses and is the editor for the ISPAN newsletter. Kathy has spoken both locally and Nationally on the safety of non surgical aesthetics.
